The Archiver section enables self-managed archiving of live streams for a specified or indefinite period of time. The configuration on this page allows you to
delete Archiver Captures
The page is split into two sides:
Add/Edit Archiver Captures¶
This section is displayed on the left side of the page.
By default, this is used to
add new Archiver Captures. If you click on an existing Archiver Capture in the Current Archiver Captures section, this will update to
edit that Archiver Capture. If you are editing an existing Archiver Capture, there will be an orange “Cancel Editing” button displayed next to the save button.
Adding a capture will require an ID to be set along with a Primary Publishing Point in the form of a URL, Secondary and Tertiary Publishing Points can also be optionally set. If no start date is set during creation of the capture it will set the current time and date as a starting point, an end date can also be manually set as a cutoff point for capturing. The Capture can also have an expiry time along with a decryption key and can be finally set as active or inactive.
Current Archiver Captures¶
This section is displayed on the right side of the page.
In this section you will see a list of all the current Archiver Captures on the system. From this list you can see:
In the Actions column, you will see three buttons: A red X button to delete the capture, a statistic button to view capture statistics and an archive button to view the captures and their metadata such as bitrates in the form of XML.
If the user clicks on the date and time under “Captured” they will be taken to an “Available Content” page which shows a list of available captured content.
