Assets¶

This page allows you to view the files associated with the Event - these are referred to as Assets. Assets can be generated for a number of reasons, including System tasks. System Assets cannot be directly removed, and are instead managed by VCH itself. “User Assets” is often used to refer to non-system Assets, and can be generated within VCH or other integrated applications. For an example of this integration see CLIP2VU’s GIF & JPEG generation.
The information about an Asset is as follows:
- Name - The display name of the Asset.
- Extension - The extension on the Asset filename.
- Type - See Asset Types.
- State - See Asset States.
- Date Modified - When the Asset was last modified, including renaming.
- Actions - See Actions.

Actions¶
Assets can be downloaded, providing the storage configuration has made them accessible. It is not always necessary for a VCH setup to expose access to all types of Assets, especially System ones, if you are unable to download a file, please contact Support to see if this is expected for your setup.
Assets can also be deleted, providing you have permissions and the Asset itself is not a System one.
