DRM

This page allows you to toggle DRM on and off for the Event. This section is only available for Events in a generated VOD, Remix, or Compose state.

A DRM switch is the process of swapping manifests between an encrypted version and an unencryped version. This is a short process and the Event and Streaming URLs will be updated automatically.

Note

Currently, toggling DRM is only supported on already generated Events with a DRM manifest. If one is not present, the system will revert the change.

Warning

Remix and Compose Events will need to be regenerated when toggling DRM. This means a temporary period where the stream is unavailable due to the Generating state.
