Capture

This page allows you to capture content from a stream using the Event’s VOD Workflow. This captures from a given URL, which can be a custom or external URL if known, otherwise, you can use the arrow button to browse Events in the system and automatically extract their URL.

Populating the form and clicking Save will trigger the capture job and redirect you to a page that allows you to monitor the progress. As seen in the images below, the right side of the page is the processing log, which will show the status of the capture job. When completed successfully, the External Playlist Preview will update to showing you the resulting VOD stream.
